About

Choosing a therapist can be confusing. In my years of experience, it becmae evident that finding a good fit is based not only on expertise but mostly on a conneciton and “therapeutic chemistry”. I am here to support you in making this decision and starting to see REAL CHANGE and GROWTH.

I am a licensed AMFT (#126916), trained in Brainspotting, the RITTM model developed by Dr. Karol Darsa for trauma treatment, and in Sensorimotor psychotherapy I and II, with a Master of Arts in Psychology from Antioch University. I utilize empathy, authentic positive regard, and attunement, to develop therapeutic alliance, and collaboratively work with clients on their journey towards healing.

I was trained at The Maple Counseling Center, Reconnect Trauma Treatment Center, and currently at the Jung institute of LA, combining Psychodynamic theories with Somatic and Holistic techniques, which allows for a wholesome integrative experience and results. I utilize coping strategies, mindfulness exercises and other tools to support brain integration and work on reestablishing a stronger sense of self, resilience and well being.

Embracing my many years of diverse life experiences, which have included academic legal studies, spiritual studies, and years of travels to distant communities, led me to my calling to become a therapist. My studies in Zen Buddhism, Vipassana and Kabbalah taught me diversified approaches to mental health. I believe that each person is equipped with internal wisdom, strength, and resources that could be accessed in the process of recovery from trauma, and to reconnect with self and others.

I strive to keep a passionate, loving, and down to earth approach to help others, and continue my journey to contribute to the community and to better each individual’s experience with their surrounding environment.

“Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”
