I’m glad you’re here

A lot of questions come up when you’re deciding who to work with. Can they help me? Will they get me? How will I feel with them?

I’m Einat Ezra , a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT #149380. I specialize in infertility and trauma, and I work with couples, and with individuals from their teens onward.

More than any method, what I bring is steadiness. My own experience, and my faith, left me with a certainty I can lend you until you build your own, and with real trust that a hard chapter can make a person larger rather than smaller. That’s what people tell me they stay for.

How I work

I draw on classical psychology and attachment theory, on somatic, body-based psychology, and on specialized trauma methods including EMDR and Brainspotting. All of it is informed by years of spiritual study, travel, self-exploration, and my own long infertility struggle.

In practice that means we give space to let go of what’s hard, and then put some order into it, so there’s room to breathe, to enjoy your life now, and to move toward what you want with an actual strategy. Not only talk: we work with the body, the nervous system and the brain. Warm and empathetic, and also real and direct, so you don’t waste your time.

Before I became a therapist, I studied law and became an attorney. It left me with a respect for how much it matters to balance the demands of everyday life with your inner world: sleep, motivation, sexuality, health, meaning.

What I bring to this

I’ve lived several quite different lives. I studied law and became an attorney. I’ve traveled, studied widely, spent years in spiritual study and self-exploration, and I went through a long fertility journey of my own.

The range is the point. Studying law left me with a habit of thinking clearly under pressure, and a respect for how much the practical details of a life matter: the money, the decisions, the logistics nobody wants to bring into therapy. Zen, Vipassana and Kabbalah gave me two things. Practical tools for settling the mind, which I use with clients directly. And ways of understanding what blocks a person, and of moving them past it, that complement the clinical training rather than replacing it. The clinical training gave me methods that work with the body and not only the thoughts. And my own journey means I’m not guessing about the hardest parts of this. I know firsthand that hardship can become a happy, fulfilling life, and I believe that for you too.

What all of it adds up to is steadiness, and a real trust that a difficult chapter can make a person larger rather than smaller. That’s the part people stay for.
