Do you wake up feeling anxious, worried, or unmotivated?

Deep down, you know you have unique gifts and untapped potential. Yet, something seems to hold you back. Is it insecurity? Fear of rejection or failure? Or perhaps the daunting fear of success itself?

Some days, you feel unstoppable; other days, you find yourself critiquing your life, your body, or your accomplishments.

Whether these feelings arise from past trauma, chronic insecurity, childhood attachment issues, or simply having a highly sensitive personality, they can significantly impact every aspect of your life. Your career, relationships, self-expression, sexuality, and overall well-being may suffer, preventing you from thriving and embracing your true self.

I’m Einat Ezra, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT# 149380), with specialized training in Brainspotting, the RITTM trauma model by Dr. Karol Darsa, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. Holding a Master of Arts in Psychology from Antioch University, I build therapeutic relationships through empathy, authentic regard, and attunement, guiding clients on their healing journeys.

In my personal journey, I struggled with chronic insecurity from a young age, leading me to develop defenses and a false persona due to a lack of self-value. This insecurity influenced major life decisions—I pursued a career as an attorney in 2004 and spent 11 years in a very religious community, seeking validation. Over time, I learned to believe in my worth, speak up for myself, confront difficult situations, and recognize my talents. I began to believe in my ability to manifest my desires and stopped falling into the same patterns of feeling less than or not enough. Through this journey, despite many struggles, I discovered my true calling to support others. If I didn’t believe it was possible to break through these limitations and inhibitions, I wouldn’t be here today, working to help others do the same.

Trained at The Maple Counseling Center, Reconnect Trauma Treatment Center, and the Jung Institute of LA, I integrate Psychodynamic theories with Somatic and Holistic techniques. I employ coping strategies, mindfulness, and other tools to foster brain integration, resilience, and overall well-being.

My diverse life experiences and studies in Zen Buddhism, Vipassana, and Kabbalah have deepened my understanding of mental health. I believe each person possesses internal wisdom and resources crucial for trauma recovery and self-connection.

With a compassionate, grounded approach, I aim to enhance personal experiences within communities. I am committed to supporting you on your path to healing, discovering inner strengths, and overcoming daily challenges.

Finding the right therapist who truly understands and helps you achieve your goals can be daunting. I'm here to assist you in making this important decision.

Self Esteem is impacted during childhood

  • The Impact of Trauma on Self-Esteem Development

Children need a safe base in order to develop a strong and coherent sense of self. Each stage of development is important for the following stage. If a child doesn't get the mirroring and support they need or if they get harsh and abusive experiences it would be hard to develop self-esteem.

  • Sensitive kids

Some kids are born more sensitive. If the environment does not recognize their gifts and give them the support they need, they may develop mood issues and lower self-esteem. Through corrective relational experiences, increased awareness and regulation tools, those people could thrive.
